Welcome to my mind!
I’m not a scientist, scholar, or professional philosopher. If we allow stone to represent the enterprise of an intellectual, I’m not one of the great carvers, who were canonized for their indelible designs.
What I am is a miner. I burrow through a mountain of thoughts, and in my wake forms a system of caverns and theories. I chisel at chunks of rock until only the gemstone of an idea remains. I map the shafts and tunnels, a philosophy of connections.
I do this because it’s what my mind wants to do, but I also believe my thoughts have the potential to benefit others. To reconcile, console, and bring nuance. It’s how I try to help, against polarization and despair.
People won’t marvel at my monuments. But they might enjoy a walk through my tunnels.
